The Johnson Controls P66AAB-6C Series P66 Electronic Fan Speed Control, Single Input Sensor Models, 170-230 psig Operating Range, 16 Start Voltage, 60" Capillary Length is an electro-mechanical operator for the control of gas and oil burner fans.

Used for controlling the speed of a fan with a flow-sensing device. The control receives a feedback signal from the flow sensor, which it uses to vary the voltage applied to a motor-mounted variable reluctance device (VRD) in order to match fan speed to airflow demand.

This P66 fan controller is a variable speed control that provides full-load and part-load switching for fan coils. The P66AAB-6C can be used in both low and high static pressure applications.

The Johnson Controls P66AAB-6C Series Electronic Fan Speed Control is designed for use with a variety of 60 in capillary lengths, 16 start voltages and 170-230 psig operating ranges. The P66 Electronic Fan Speed Control features a full function microprocessor for increased functionality and problem solving functionality.

The P66 is the industry's first pressure-operated electronic fan speed control. It uses a revolutionary new pressure-operated piezoelectric sensor to translate pressure into an accurate 4–20mA signal that controls fan speed. Pressure is the only input required, making it easy to install and commission. The SPDT relay provides 16 start/stop settings and excellent short circuit protection.

The combination of the MSC P66AAB Electronic Fan Speed Control and the 6C Sensor Input Module produces a press to speed control that can be used for fan applications in either heating or cooling systems where temperature sensors are located at remote locations from the fan motor. The MSC P66 with 6C can be mounted on a DIN rail or panel with an optional back box (panel size is dependent upon model).
