This PTAC HEAT ASSEMBLY is Used in Amana under counter equipped rooms.

The PTAC Heat Assembly is used in the back cover of an electric heating unit if it is missing or malfunctioning. This is not OEM product; it is a replacement part made by a different manufacturer. Equipped with metal screws, the PTAC Control Board simplifies installation.

Amana PTAC Heat Assembly.

A PTAC heat assembly is an important unit within a PTAC. This particular high-efficiency PTAC heat assembly is designed for use with the Amana AMCA30PTAC, AMCA36PTAC, and ECA30PTAC cooling and heating units. The PTAC heat assembly is designed to fit into any 24-inch window to deliver both heat and cooling as needed.

Heat assembly -- PTAC heaters must be allowed to operate for a minimum of 15 minutes prior to occupancy. Some models may contain air- and water-filled storage tanks and require priming prior to operation. Make sure all snap covers are properly latched, equipped with thermometers, filled to the proper level, and secured by retaining bolts.
