Description: These flame amplifiers are designed to function as low voltage, high current no spark ignition devices in open-flame gas burners to provide a nearly instantaneous heating of gas. They are primarily used in metal melting furnaces including cupola, oxygen and other processes.

Honeywell's R-series flame amplifier expands in response to the pilot.1,5 This design reduces the current flow, which causes a corresponding drop in lamp current and bulb temperature. The result is reduced power consumption and longer life for the lamp. Replaces R7232, R7234, and R7236 models. For use with PolyLux decorator series lamps only.
