24V SPDT SPUD MOUNT FAN RELAY
The Honeywell R8225A-1017 24V SPDT Switching Fan Relay is a durable product designed to safely control 24 VAC or DC loads up to 1 A. The open coil voltage is 30 VAC/VDC and the coil resistance is between 12–16 ohms.
The Honeywell R8225A-1017 SPDT fan relay can be utilized as a replacement for almost any 24V relay
When used with a compatible switch, this replacement SPDT relay functions as a 24V (10A) fan delay relay.
Isolate your fan or other 24VAC loads from the control circuit with this SPDT relay. Relay cabinet mount. NEMA 3R enclosure. Maximum 20A at 21 VDC, maximum 125VAC at 10 A load current. Eight second rise time when changing state of relay contacts. Sixteen second unlatch and debounce time when switching. Automatically switches when AC voltage rises above 23 VAC and falls below 12 VAC. Contact resistance: 2m Ohms. Alternate switch function: 15A at 5VDC, 200mA standby current each side for lamps, 0.5A at 24 V
The Honeywell 2638-42/R8225A is a 24VDC SPDT switching fan relay. It is not intended for continuous duty in a 24VAC or 24VDC contactor application where the control mounted on the common terminal and using the common terminal as source for feedback. It is designed to switch heavy loads, typically large cooling fans. The contact life of this relay will likely degrade when operated in a constant current capacity.
Specially designed for air conditioner system and hot water heating system, this fan relay comes in SPDT switch with a violet wire. The 24V fan relay is rated 10A and 240VAC, providing high amperage and bilateral power transfer. This Honeywell 24-volt fan relay switches easily between NO and NC mode to control the cooling. It also serves as bypass when no AC current is desired. The durable blue plastic top protects the contacts from dust or debris.
Attached to the PCB is a brass spud for mounting. On the side of the relay is a totally enclosed non-locking SPDT switch. The terminal has 7 mm (0.275") spacing and the terminals are spring loaded.
