The system uses an accelerometer and electronic compass in the RAM autopilot controller to provide automated steering, heading trim control and back to heading mode. The nine pin interface allows you to connect a remote compass, planer or hydraulic depth device.

The autopilot system is designed to use a rudder mounted ram type transducer for performance and depth measurements. The autopilot can be used with either T-C or tiller steering configurations but must be hard wired to your boat and requires drilling of holes in the boat structure.
