This Rheem Ruud Eon 1/2 HP ECM Motor with EnPulse™ is a continuous performance motor that is designed for very low standby power consumption. It is a split capacitor motor that uses a brushless DC permanent magnet motor and a microprocessor to regulate the motor speed.

The Eon ECM Motor has won the ENERGY STAR® for its energy efficiency. The Eon ECM motor drives provide state of the art energy management and maximizes horsepower to reduce energy consumption up to 40% compared to standard t-slot design t-slot design.
