The Rheem 35/3MFD 440-V capacitor is used in Ruud brand air conditioners and heat pumps. Condenser fan motors are cooled by external air, so they do not require a run capacitor. The capacitor will have an orange triangle on the label and will only fit the units that list 35/3MFD 440-V as a component.
