The 310F M/R Limit Switch is a Single Pole, Four-Wire thermostatic, reset (non-frost protection) control that shuts off the gas when the water temperature reaches 210°F.

The Rheem 47-22712-82 310F M/R Limit Switch is a part of the gas valve assembly, and switches the burner on or off. This hard-wired, bi-metalic thermopile control switch should be installed in the upper right corner of the furnace, and it has a 4-40 1/2 backset and 1/2-20 5/8 backset (two mounting options). This part is also compatible with Rheem gas valves series 310F, 8SAB16C54R103004.

This 310F Limit Switch is constructed of solid steel and is painted with an epoxy-based coating for lasting corrosion resistance and enhanced durability. The sturdy switch features a pilot light that illuminates when the unit reaches set temperature so it is easy to verify at a glance. This device comes with 6' of 11/32" insulated wire, 1/4" electrical connectors, and eardrums for mounting on the tank valve. It also comes with a wire connector for easy wiring.

The M Series Limit Switch provides quick access to Flame Operate (FO), High Heat Remote (HR), and Low Heat Remote (LR) setpoints via two tripping options and a tripping mode input. The 310F contains the same basic features as its predecessors but in a lighter, smaller package with a greater application range than ever before. The 310F is therefore ideal for many venting applications, especially those where the gas control may be away from the appliance.
