The 250F M/R Limit Switch is designed to be used as a manual reset. It can be mounted in any position. This limit switch features a 13 pin wire. It only works with most Rheem and Ruud central air conditioners.

This Rheem Limit Switch is a factory replacement part for Rheem 2 stage gas water heaters. It will also fit Peerless and Bradford White 2 stage gas water heaters which are not necessarily a direct replacement for the Rheem brand. This limit switch has an adjustable manual reset that can be set as needed depending upon what temperature to shut off your unit. This particular Limit Switch is designed to fit Rheem Airstream two stage gas water heaters, but will work on other brands where noted by the manufacturer as well

The RHEEM 47-22861-04 Limit Switch - Manual Reset (Flanged Airstream) is a replacement automatic thermostat for air conditioning and heat pump equipment.

A limit switch may be used for an automatic reset or manual reset as required. The manual reset models have a clip which pushes the contacts out of engagement when released.
