Motor - ECM A model number or description must appear on both the unit and the attached motor. This motor is designed to use a Rheem approved Condenser Fan Motor which is listed on this slide. The condenser fan motor may be purchased at your local Rheem distributor, or by calling Rheem technical services at 1-800-243-3645 (9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday) Thank you for choosing Rheem for all your home comfort needs

This product is a direct replacement for the motor included with this outdoor unit. This motor can be used to replace a single-speed, two-speed or variable-speed type ECM. It has a maximum speed rating of 1750 RPM and 120 Volts. It should be installed in a horizontal position and is intended for severe application use in areas where ambient temperatures are between 40F and 104F (4C to 40C).

The RUUD Condenser Fan (ECM) (also known as the Motor-Fan) is an essential part of your cooling system. A faulty ECM may cause irregular running of your outdoor unit, or even reduce the cooling performance of your unit. To enjoy optimal comfort, we recommend replacing the ECM every five years or when it's damaged from corrosion.
