The 3/4" HSI/DSI (High-Pressure Steam Injector) is a steam-operated control valve that modulates flow of condensate from the water heater to your water source based on varying steam demand. DSI models are designed for use with ordinary city water as the source of makeup water."

The HSI and DSI are available in 1/2" through 2" nominal feeds. The shut-off valve is standard on all HSI and DSI series valves. Available in cast iron or stainless steel, with manual or automatic resetting pilot lights, these models meet most code requirements for zero clearance fireplaces and established standards for outstanding heat transfer and flame stability.

The Ruud 3/4" 80k BTU zone valve provides temperature-compensating control with two stages of gas and an integrated liquid valve. This zone valve is designed to provide a constant flow of hot water or steam to a matched residential system, helping to maintain balanced temperatures. The two stages provide 40% modulating range for water and 10% modulating range for steam. The integrated liquid valve allows you to switch between high temperature, continuous service hot water, or low temperature (125ºF) domestic hot water with just a flick of a switch.
