The Suction Service Valve is designed to be used in Ruud Heat Pumps. It has a unique filter design to captures debris. If you notice a decrease in the performance of your system, call an HVAC professional for a routine maintenance checkup.

The Ruud Suction Service Valve is made with black chromium finish. It is compatible with Rheem Ruud Heater types gas/forced air furnaces only and is designed to be installed in the suction line, and it measures 0.5 inch diameter X 8 inches long. The valve has an easy to use push-button operating mechanism that turns water flow on or off for heating system maintenance.

The Ruud Suction Service Valve is designed for use with RHEEM gas furnaces and self-contained water heaters. It connects to the suction line in the discharge plenum of a furnace or water heater and maintains a vacuum during periods when no exhaust air is being released from the unit.

Our Ruud suction service valve will replace the Kohler suction service solenoid for all Ruud air conditioners. This suction service valve has an open and closed switch that comes on when the coils are defrosting and releases when the heat kicks on. This is the same as a solenoid switch.
