The Rheem 62-22175-48 is a natural gas orifice designed for Ruud water heaters. This orifice attaches to the supply line that feeds the water heater and regulates the flow of water in and out. Handling your own repairs is both simple and cost-effective by using replacement parts instead of expensive, pre-assembled repair kits or new equipment.

This orifice fits Ruud natural gas furnaces and other furnaces made by other manufacturers that require a 29/32" (approx. .935) orifice. It is commonly used in Rheem 62MXA, RMCA, and RMCF gas furnaces and is difficult to find locally.

The RHEEM 62-22175-48 -Ruud gas orifice can be used on natural gas furnaces. This orifice installs in the lower duct. Ruud is a leader in heating systems.

Orifice for Gas Furnaces

This orifice has a 0.28 inch diameter and is green in color. It serves as a valve that controls the flow of gas to the burner of your furnace or boiler.

Combines the fuel orifice and thermocouple in a single, built-in unit with a removable terminal plug. This reduces the amount of gas leak points to help eliminate gas odorizing. Only required on boilers where the highest efficiency is desired (60% AFUE and higher).
