LP Orifice

The line pressure regulator, or LP orifice, is the largest of the gas valves on your appliance. It measures the amount of gas coming into your appliance from the service line, allowing for an even flow throughout all of your burners. Rheem provides a full range of replacement orifices that are easy to install and help maintain all your comfort systems.

The gas valve on your gas furnace can become clogged with dryer lint or other debris. If this occurs, your gas furnace will either not work, or you will experience reduced efficiency and/or cold spots in the room. Unclogging the LP orifice is a very simple process that can easily be done from the comfort of your home.

The 62-22175-91 Rheem Orifice is designed to fix Ruud furnace problems with the pilot light not staying lit, cooling down too much, or heating up too much.

This orifice is used for Ruud model RCAA036P5 central air conditioning units.

This orifice is used for the following Ruud systems:

Gas orifice is located on the inlet of the gas valve, for controlling and regulating the flow of gas to the burner.

This orifice is a direct replacement for RHEEM/ Ruud models 62-22175-91, 62-22166-91, 62-22166-90. The orifice can be used with Rheem/Ruud direct vent, power vent and gas pack units.
