Ignitor Retrofit Kit

The Ignitor Retrofit Kit is for older Ruud units that were manufactured before 2005 and have the ignitor installed on top of the burner. The kit includes an ignitor, a Carb Spark Module (CSM) with a new platinum spark electrode, a plug wire to connect the CSM to the ignitor, and a screwdriver. To complete the installation, turn off the circuit breaker to lower the gas pressure, disconnect the existing wires from the brass terminal of the old ignitor, and attach them to those of the new one. This kit also requires replacing part of your gas control valve.

Ignitor Retrofit Kit is used to convert a pilot-light system to an electronic ignition system. It includes the Ignitor Electronic Ignition System with GAS OUTLET-ABN, and Manual Modulating Pilot (SP12145RM) with LIGHT-PILOT-LITE.

The Ignitor Retrofit Kit includes the fuel ignitor, wire harness and thermocouple required to convert your under the counter fuel-fired appliance to an electronic ignition.
