The RHEEM SP20128 Pilot Assembly Replacement Kit is an upgraded version of Rheem's original LP pilot assembly. Unlike the original version, this new model features a reliable mechanical adjustment mechanism, time-proven micro switches and quick connect fittings. This item is for use with Rheem's Models: UP32G31/N/XF, UP33G21/N/XF, V41F2FAXEB1F and V41F3FAXEB1R.

Rheem LP pilot assemblies are designed to replace an existing pilot assembly. This assembly is for use with the RHEEM brand gas furnace. The pilot lights the burners at the correct temperature, and keeps a safe airflow and gas pressure going to the furnace blower motor.

This Rheem pilot assembly replacement kit is a genuine replacement part and fits the following models- 1PCE, 1PHW and 1PGS. This kit includes a burner tube, ignition probe, thermocouple, pilot orifice and O-ring. Replacing your worn pilot assembly will restore the efficiency of your water heater.

The pilot assembly contains a crystal which senses the flame of the burner and controls the burner.  It is one of the most important components in the gas control valve assembly since it is responsible for relighting the gas valve if it goes out, and safe shut off by sensing if a flame is present.
