CURRENT SENSOR
RIB RELAYS RIBXKTF RIBXKTF UNIVERSAL CURRENT SENSOR
For the RIB-X, Current Sensor is a standard accessory. -Powerful multifunction transmitter displays real-time transmit data including VHF frequency, transmit/receive indicators and current sensor status (good or bad).
Our RIBXCTF Current Sensor Panel has a dual function: to prevent your battery from being discharged and to provide an extremely accurate digital readout of battery voltage. Both functions are extremely important to optimize battery life. First, the Current Sensor prevents your engine from drawing down your boat’s batteries when you’re not running. Second, the digital display allows you to quickly see how much charge is left in your batteries at any given time.

The Current Sensor is an accessory that electronically measures the amount of amps passing through your RIB Relays. It features a latch to secure it in place and a terminal block for easy connections.
Through the years, the advantages of directly sensing an AC or DC current have been reduced to a mere historical curiosity. For this reason, many conventional current sensors are now available with measurement current of 0.1~1mA, which is by far too low for physical calibration. The RIBRELAY, on the other hand, employs a high precision and rugged Hall IC to sense accurate currents up to 5A with an extremely wide range of interfaces that include 4-20mA and 0-10V
Rib Relays are a compact relay with screw terminals which are designed for three-phase supplies. They feature anti-corrosion protection, mounting slots, and a ground lug for installation onto the transformer housing without any additional accessories. The current sensor models have a screw terminal block which is sealed with loctite.
