This 1-2 Grooving Die is designed for use with the 811 HD die head. Grooving cuts and semi-circle grooves are accomplished using this special fit die in combination with the corresponding 811 HD die head.

This Ridge Tool Co. 1-2 Grooving Die (1) will fit 811 HD die sets. It is made of hardened steel with precision formed cutting blades.

This tool consists of a die set and a special adapter for the S-type body of the 811HD. This operation is always carried out while the spindle is running at reduced speed. The grooving die must be clamped firmly in the toolholder. Use only the Grooving Die Adapter (R50985C).
