110V DEFROST TIMER 7008-101
The DEFROST TIMER 7008-101 is a solid-state automatic defrost control for electric water heaters.
Robertshaw introduces the Paragon Series of high quality DEFROST TIMERS. The 7008-101 0-10V DEFROST TIMER (110-120V) is capable of using other controls to interface with for defrosting hydronic systems, such as zone valves, time clocks, pressure switches, and many others. This DEFROST TIMER has a modern design that allows quick and easy installation onto the system's piping.
Robertshaw defrost control panel controls defrost cycle on refrigeration equipment by using time rather than temperature to determine when to start and end the defrost cycle. This control panels's unique time set rate can be set up to a maximum of 65 minutes cycle at a time. These units are easy to adjust and read on the front. Defrost Timer 7008-101
Two Models in One. Defrost timers are used in refrigeration systems to monitor and control appliance defrost cycles. However, conventional defrost timers lack the time-saving convenience of a digital readout. The Paragon offers up to 3 user-selected periods per day, 3 temperature override options, automatic time correction for daylight savings time changeovers, an ON/OFF cycle for fan coil units, a maximum run period of 5 hours and much more. The Paragon has two models in one timer with ten options--combined model 7008 and remote mounted model 7098.
The first true defrost control designed from the ground up for accurate temperature sensing combined with precise temperature control. The defrost cycle is automatically controlled, based on actual temperature and never simply time. This ensures total food safety and avoids the problem of over or under-defrosting. Also available in a 24V DC version (7808-101).
The Paragon defrost timer with "gentle" defrost cycle offers homeowners more control for an energy-efficient home. This defrost timer has a 2-point manual override and can easily be set to prevent overshooting during the defrost phase.
These timers allow you to easily defrost a refrigeration system without having to run the unit for extended periods. This makes it possible to complete a frost removal operation during off-peak hours, controlling running costs and reducing energy consumption.
