Our York® 1/5 HP Motor is the standard replacement motor for York residen- tial garage door openers manufactured from 1941 to 1995. It is a 4-wire, C-frame design with a convenient back wire connection and a 0.81 Service Factor.

This Series 1 single-speed 115 vac Motor converts in both directions and connects to 2" (51 mm) diameter blowers for positive pressure in tight ductwork. It's NEMA 1 frame permits side or bottom mounting in a standard electrical box. Features include: infinite variable speed control; self-amplified; tapped connection; and overload protection.

Apply the scraper to clean any debris that may jam the brush or cause a motor not to run properly. To start a running machine, push button in, and move either to CCW or CW till you hear a snap. Apply power and push throttle to desired setting. On machines designed for 120V motors, apply electrical power where required.
