The belt 480v 90w 29-36"dia 64"lds from York-Electrical is a shorter unit that comprises of a crankcase heater. It has been constructed from high quality material that comprises of a bimetallic spring as well as a metal reinforced case.

Built tough for demanding jobs, this 480v (90 watt) crankcase heater is made of solid-brass construction for maximum heat transfer. This heater is designed to heat liquids in tanks or lines without requiring adjustment. It can be used in fixed or portable applications.

The York 480 crankcase heater is a 480V, 90W small footprint heater with a 64" conductor length. This unit has a convenient rear access case design for easy inspection and belt changes. This heater features an epoxy powder coated cast base, totally enclosed design, integral disconnect switches and a low amp draw at start-up. The case is a fan coil base that allows easy conversion to a fan coil application.

Both the belt and motor are encased in a heavy aluminum jacket that is completely sealed from the elements, which also acts as an excellent heat sink. The tensioner pulley is adjustable. This model has top quality, high energy H-frame side supports, which are much easier to maintain than the cheaper I-beam style supports.

Simply roll the crankcase heater into the fluid and heat to 160oF (71oC). It can be left in the diesel for up to 3 hours. Ergonomically designed handle provides easy transportation.

The York crankcase heater is designed for use on refrigeration systems requiring de-aeration (removal of air) of the compressor crankcase, generator or condenser for engine starting purposes. The crankcase heater is factory pre-set to start automatically by the integrated electric thermostat at 76°F (24°C). The thermostat can be re-set to provide automatic restart after restart (cycles). The electric temperature control requires an illustration of complete wire diagram of the installation.

The York® Crankcase Heater 480-1-60 is suitable for engine testing or for engine warm up. This type of product consists of a heating element that occurs over the crankshaft and cylinder head.
