SWITCH,LIMIT,215/185(O/C),AUTO RESET
YORK S1-02537344000 SWITCH,LIMIT,215/185(O/C),AUTO RESET
The YORK S1-02537344000 is a switch,limit,215/185(o/c),auto reset. The switch has a maximum current capacity of 0.05A at 240/208VAC and a contact pattern of L1+L2. The contact style of the switch ismomentary. The number of poles on the switch is single.
A combination limit switch and auto reset thermal overload protector for use with electric fuel heating or air conditioning systems
The S1 range of miniature circuit relays are ideal for control of electrical loads. This switch is classed as an auto reset type and has a moderate on/off resistance at approx 200 ohms. When energized, the contacts stay open until the coil current drops below 12mA, then the contacts will automatically close. If the power supply fails or is removed, then the contacts remain closed indefinitely until the operating coil current rises above 12mA. This automatic restoration of open contacts makes the switch suitable for use as a safety device.
A limit switch is an electrical component, or mechanism, that is activated by the mechanical movement of a physical object. There are two major types of limit switches, automatic reset limit switches and manual reset limit switches.
The switch is used to limit movement of doors, windows, gates and so on, in order to ensure the safety of people and buildings. It is a compact disc switch with an automatic reset function that operates through a sliding contact made from stainless steel. The cover of the switch is fitted with a sliding glass rod that is held in place by means of a stainless steel spring, enabling it to operate in both directions. Continued normal movement beyond the limits of the stop activates the switch-release mechanism and releases the detent force of the plunger, thus ensuring a simple automatic reset.
A conventional, limit or switch type directly operated thermostat that controls the heating device to maintain desired room temperature. It should reset automatically at the desired room temperature. The mechanism will also switch off the heating device when the internal bake/boil thermometer reaches your program's required internal temperature.
