The York 144600 S1-025-38939-480 Band 90W 480V 28.75" Diameter Heater is an electrical heating unit designed for wet and dry applications. This unit is meant to operate as a fixed as well as a portable heater.

The York band heater includes an enclosed sheathed heating element for continuous operation with an easy-to-access adjustable thermostat. The Band heaters are available in voltages of 208, 240, 277 and 480.

The versatile York Band Heater can be surface, ceiling or wall mounted with an optional mounting bracket. Based upon the famous YORK Air Duct Heating Systems, this portable band heater is designed to automatically cycle on to maintain temperature between 77°F to 95°F. Simply plug the heater into a standard 15-amp household receptacle and operate at full capacity. A bimetal thermostat controls temperature operation via the automatic cycle system. A self-contained fan switch is included to enhance efficiency at lower temperatures.

The Band heater is a 3-1/2" high wall, 90 watt, ceramic body heater that provides long life and reliable operation in tough electrical environments. It is ideal for new construction, existing installations and replacements. The unit's rugged all-weather enclosure provides exterior durability while the powder coated finish resists corrosion.
