The variable sheave, 1VP68 is a sheave that allows the operator to change the radius of the cable being pulled within a certain range. It improves uniformity of cable tension, eliminating kinks and coils.

This variable speed sheave has a 1.375" bore, 72 teeth and 72 grooves. It has 72 splines with a twist of left hand(LH) thread. The sheave is perfect for transmitters, limit switches, hard stops, vibration dampers, anti-rotation linkages, rotary hinges and more. This product uses 1 groove point mounting pattern. The sheave comes with an aluminum thimble and a pressure bearing thrust washer to ensure quality and performance. Custom sizes and materials are also available upon request.
