Caterpillar Variable Speed Sheave, 1.375 in Bore, 1 in Wheel Diameter, Pitch: .938 in., Number of Grooves: 24 , Acd 4Re12b B

The 1.375" bore sheave provides 1 to 4 variable pitch for a range of rope speeds. It mounts on an S1 spindle using SAE SP 1-1/16" diameter key stock to machine an inner race.

This drive sheave from Vickers is for use as a rotary table swivel or as a non-powered hand rotation unit on the movable table of mechanical grinding machines. This size is rated for 2-1/2 to 11 HP motors and has a bore diameter of 1.375". It is made of hardened and ground alloy steel and is nickel plated and zinc treated. This sheave works with belts and shafts and handles a maximum of 12,000 RPM.

This VARIABLE PRESSURE DRIVE (VPD) speedsheaves are offered in both NON-PRECISION and PRECISION designs. The sheaves are available with your choice of flange styles R, RA, RK, N, RSJ3/8SS, BSG5/8RH, BSG1/2HP flanged or un-flanged. Precision sheaves offer zero variation between bearings due to assembly tolerance variances or run out. Precision sheaves are constructed of case hardened steel for durability and corrosion resistance.
