With the CNTRL,CFM SELECTION board installed, retrofit and replacement fan control and communication functions can be accomplished. It will convert and communicate the correct and appropriate functions of the existing 16-button keypad to / from an external / remote source. The board also allows communication back to the [York] building [timer] touch [pad] via [four wire communication protocol].

A timer board for a fan that requires both CFM and ON-TIME duration of time to operate. The most elementary use is for On/Off control selectable by an external switch contact; Normally Closed (NC) for on and Open (NO), normally open (NO) for off. A simple circuit using an Astable Multivibrator (Regulated Squarewave) IC is used as a frequency source and flip flop IC's(7410) is used as an oscillator.
