PLATE,VENTOR,2.437 ORIFICE
The VENTOR PLATE 2.437 ORIFICE is used to regulate the flow of air between the low-pressure return ductwork and the ventilation system.
The Ventor Plate 2.437 orifice has a vent area of approximately 100 in² (645 cm²) and is intended for use with York equipment that requires York ventors with 2.437 orifice tubes.
The YORK ventor, 2.437" orifice and plate assemblies provide a simple and consistent method of installing the cooling water in gas fired boilers. These ventor orifices, G 1/4 orifice plugs, and face plates install quickly and require no modification to existing boilers.
The Ventor 2.437 is a self-blowing, balanced, 3-self-venting (bosch) type plate. With one or two plate sizes adapters, it can be mounted on either 1/2-in. or 3/4-in. IPS pipe systems. The Ventor 2.437 has a built-in clean out port with quick connect fittings for fast cleaning and reduction of cross contamination between ventilation systems. This unit comes standard with corrosion resistant aluminum support cups that enable ventilation in corrosive atmospheres such as salt water or chlorine gas.
The Ventor 148203 vent is a security vent that has an orifice size of 2.437" and is made of galvanized steel. It mounts in a 6-3/8 diameter opening using a frame and a 2" x 14 Screws (not included). The frame supplied makes perimeter blocking unnecessary. This unit has a honeycomb grille-type door that swings 90 degrees to the left for easy servicing without tools, making it ideal for retrofit applications.
The plate is an after-market plate for the York furnace with 2.437" orifice.
A 9/16" (2.437 in) size chrome plated cast iron vent cover with adjustable orifice.
York's VENTOR plates are designed to fit most gas and electric water heaters.
The plate is constructed of carbon met steel for durability and will not loosen up or rust. Provides energy efficient venting for furnaces manufactured by York, ICP, Reliance, Ovente, Monarch, Regency, Bryant, Payne and other brands.
