The Schlage S605-228 replacement driver is a 1/4" hex-shank, single-bit designed to operate Schlage Residential and Commercial Deadbolts and Door Locks with a S-series cylinder.

The Schlage external drive for S-series handles is one of many interchangeable components available for the Schlage handle. This driver is ideal for use in rough commercial applications where a fastener is needed to extract, load or drive a tool bit into the end of a handle.

This Driver is compatible with 44 pin S-Series SmartKey systems and is only for use on Schlage locks. This is for use during Master Keying applications.

This is the S-Series Drivers for SCHLAGE S series locks. You will need two of these drivers if you want to rekey a Schage lock from the outside. Otherwise, you can use one of these to rekey a deadbolt.
