The ICM Controls 66193 low V thermostat is a 2-wire heat only temporary thermostat. It features an adjustable dial and manual reset for precise temperature control. Because this electric furnace thermostat is only a temporary thermostat, it has no leads.
This Temporary 70F low voltage thermostat is ideal for use in HVAC heating applications. Because it is permanently set at 70F, this item can be used as a temporary heat source for 3-wire heat only systems to quickly heat a room and avoid any temperature swings. The 2-wire design makes installation more convenient because there are no need for extra wires or switches. This portable heating solution runs off a 24VAC transformer.
The ICM Controls 66193 70F Temporary Heat Only Thermostatic Control is used for temporary heat only when the furnace is in the OFF mode. This is a 2 wire or permanent temporary thermostat and can be used on all zones of gas, hot water and oil furnaces. The ICM Controls 66193 is a low voltage control with silver contacts.
As a central heating system controller, the Heating Only TEMPORARY THERMOSTAT from ICM controls temperature settings based on the demand for heat from a primary heating source. When used in low-voltage heating systems, the small, lightweight plastic unit is mounted directly between the primary transformer and the low-voltage thermostat. This method allows a heat pump or air conditioner to activate an external secondary heat source only when additional heat is needed.
