This Blocking Ring is designed to be used with the Schlage 36-079-031 (Mortise Cylinder). The Schlage 36-079-031 (Mortise Cylinder) is a Mortise Cylinder that comes in the Schlage B60 large 1 3/8" Diameter, B100 large 2" Diameter and B120 large 2 1/4" Diameter. The Blocking Ring is 5/16".

Use this Blocking Ring with no Compression Ring when the backset distance is 1-3/8" (35mm) and the latchbolt is 3-3/8" (86mm) or longer. This Blocking Ring is used to prevent removal of the cylinder.

The Schlage 36-079-031-613 is a blocking ring for use without compression ring. This model number is for the 36 series door locks. The 613 model number is for the oil rubbed bronze finish.
