Schlage's 679-05HM Hollowmetal Door Position Switch is a passive infrared motion sensor switch for use with most residential hollow metal and steel doors. It works with any hollowmetal or steel door 1-3/8" to 2-1/8" (35mm to 54mm) thick that remains closed at all times and does not require the latch to be locked in the open position.

Schlage® 679-05HM HollowMetal™ door position switches are ideal for hotel rooms, guest suites, and wherever a quick visual check of the room door is required. Simply remove the cover and pull it across the doorway. A green LED will light if the door is open, and a red LED will light if the door is closed. Featuring a unique backlit illuminator faceplate, these window switches can be temporarily disabled by simply sliding the faceplate back onto two pegs on the case to prevent tampering while cleaning services are present

Easily fits into a standard Yoko frame, the Schalge 679-05HM Position Switch is complete with a metal door, which includes an adjustable baffle. This product switches easily and can be fitted for use over a variety of hollow metal doors.

This heavy-duty model features a stainless steel compensator plate for additional impact resistance and includes metal and plastic mounting screws. The FE599 series position switch provides complete contact separation for superior durability.

The hollowmetal door combination switch can be surface mounted in an opening of any depth 6" to 9 -- in. and provides unobstructed movement of personnel through a doorway while indicating if the door is open or closed

The photoelectric door position switch replaces most current door switches, eliminating the need for mechanical linkage and can accommodate 1/2 in. or 5/8 in. thick doors.
