Schlage residential deadbolts are intended for use in exterior and interior applications that require a flush, surface-mounted latch. It is designed for use in residential applications and meets ANSI/BHMA A156.18 2006 Grade 2 standards. The kit, designed for 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" doors, includes a housing that accepts all Schlage Commercial latch assemblies (except deadlatch) and all Schlage C Keyway cylinders.

If you've had a look around the Schlage product line up, you'll notice that there are a lot of different models to choose from. A lot of those models have options for a thick door kit and a standard door kit. In this video, we're going to talk about the different features and differences between those two kits for the Schlage model 61-075-400-622 residential lock. The first thing we're going to look at is the strike plate.

This door lock kit comes with a deadbolt, latch and strike plate. It features a Schlage Primus keyway, which accepts both Schlage and most Kwikset keys.
