It is used for commercial interior applications such as offices, department stores, and maybe apartment buildings or duplexes. It has a European mortise faceplate, which means that the bolt comes out of the side rather than out of the front. The cylinder does not have a passage for a latch or deadbolt. Sold as complete set with 2 keys, 2 levers to accommodate either 6 throw or 8 throw mortises.
