The Schlage J54-V-TOR-605 is a residential lock designed to provide security. This lock has a 3 1/8" backset and requires a 2 3/8" borehole. The Schlage J54-V-TOR-605 has a die cast zinc body with stainless steel trim, face plate and microswitch. It also features an extra dead bolt strike for increased security, an anti thumbturn feature to prevent unauthorized entry through the doorknob and it uses standard Schlage buttons and locksets for quick and easy ordering of spare parts.

This entry door lockset is designed for residential use, and does not include a deadbolt. It features a single cylinder deadbolt with a Key Control option for apartment and retirement home use. The deadbolt strike box is 2-3/8" wide x 2-3/8" deep and will require 1-1/16" - 1-9/16" of jamb depth. The latch is reversible for left or right hand doors and the handle can be set on either side of the door.
