This lock features SmartKey re-key technology, which provides homeowners with the ability to re-key their locks in seconds by inserting a specially designed key and turning it within their existing lock cylinder.
This is a Schlage FE285-CEN-LAT-622 Residential Lock. CENTURY X LATITUDE BOTTOM HALF FE285-CEN. Key cylinders are supplied with one standard factory key and one restricted master key, which is used for making additional restricted keys and for servicing the cylinder. The restricted master key can only be cut by a locksmith or locksmith company which has been trained and certified by the cylinder manufacturer or its authorized agents.

FE285-CEN-LAT-622 is a Schlage Century X Latitude Bottom Half, Satin Nickel. This lock features 2 1/8" (54mm) latchbolt throw, 5 1/2" (140mm) backset, 2 3/4" (70mm) inactive throwbolts, and 2 3/4" (70mm) active throwbolts. The boltwork is included in this lock set.
