Schlage's FE285-CEN-LAT-622 is a U.L. Residential Grade Mortise Cylinder with vertical rod locking and self-adjusting latchbolt strike, which is suited for use on wood or metal doors, on exterior or interior applications. It features a 1" throw with a ½" lip and can be used in lever or knob mortise locksets. The cylinder accommodates 9/32", 15/32" and 23/32" backset deadbolts and deadlatch assemblies, does not include the latchbolt assembly.

The Schlage FE285-CEN is a Z-Wave device that works with the Nexia Home Intelligence Platform which connects your home to the Internet. The Schlage FE285-CEN is used in conjunction with the Schlage FE365, which includes a touchscreen keypad, and can be installed as a standalone electronic lock or in combination with other door hardware (deadbolts, handlesets, levers).
