The lock is rated for 1200 lbs (544 kg) and meets ANSI/BHMA A156.19 certified residential and light commercial security ratings. This lock is ideal for exterior doors and any door where a keyed entry is desired without the need for a traditional deadbolt or handle lockset.

Schlage MG1200-DT-32D Schlage's Magnetic Electronically Controlled lock is a 1.25" wide x 2.25" high unit, featuring an integral 2 1/4" diameter electro magnetic lock that is operated by the Schlage Keyway cylinder. The lock is available in lever and knob handle options with either a dead bolt or tubular style latch. This model also features a Green LED status light, along with an audible alarm, to provide visual and audible confirmation that the door has been locked.
