The Schlage AD Series I Prox & Smar t Card Reader utilizes the power of two components in one device: a proximity tag reader and access control reader. The button on the side powers the unit on, accesses programming mode and locks down enabled features to provide PIN security. Conveniently placed slots hold ID badges and proximity cards.

The Schlage AD Series I Prox & Smar t Card Reader attaches to the AD Series I Prox reader, turning it into a card-reader. With Smart-Card authentication, the AD Series I reader is easy to set up and supports Level 3. The AD Series I Prox & Smar t Card Reader is WAIV (Wisconsin Administering Information Via the Internet) compliant and goes well with your legacy SCHLAGE products.

The Schlage AD Series I Prox & Smar t Card Reader, is an easy to install access control system that can read a proximity badge or card, which can be used in conjunction with an alarm system already in place. With these readers you are able to open doors by swiping a card or badge as you normally would. As the access point is opened, the reader will automatically send a signal to the alarm panel to arm and disarm accordingly.

The Schlage AD Series I Prox & Smar t Card Reader is small in size, but can process numbers of users at once. The Schlage Prox & Smar t Card Reader delivers a new level of control and convenience to the built-in deadbolt lock. Designed to fit a standard Kwikset deadbolt, the integrated door reader can be used with the AD Series I or most other locks that utilize similar technology. Proximity card swiping capabilities allow access on command.
