It is designed for year-round use and features a zinc die Cast body and built-in area for posting a keycode or electronic access code. The door knob and deadbolt are chrome plated for added protection and aesthetics. This product has Hardened Boron Alloy Steel Throwbolt, 1-3/8 inch (35 mm) throw, 3-1/8 inch (80 mm) backset, level tolerances of +/- 1/32 inch

The ND Series classroom door lock has a steel latch bolt and top shoulder which resists penetration by saws, chisels, and hammer blows. The mounting plate on the door is virtually indestructible.
