The ND80 Series Deadbolt is an entry deadbolt for use on a solid wood door. It features a deadlocking latchbolt and a 1 inch square drive, which require only 9/16-inch and a stubby screwdriver to operate. The deadlocking latchbolt has some of the same benefits as a lock bolt, such as increased resistance against kick-in attacks.

From the outside, these cylinders look just like a standard "deadbolt" lock. The difference is on the inside of the cylinder are only 3 pins rather than 5 or 6 . This saves money and weighs less. This allows for slim line locks in popular applications. This cylinder can ONLY be used in applications that take a deadbolt strike. Most lever door handles don't have the center hole or space to accept a deadbolt anchor. This is why this cylinder cannot be used with Lever Handles.
