The Schlage SD10 Track Adapter 716 is a locking track adapter that allows you to add a door to your wood, metal or vinyl track door project. Locks into the top, bottom and side channels of a standard door opening. Tested to ANSI B175.1, ANSI A156.36 and UL 3103. Three-point locking system with deadlocking latch mechanism resists covert entry.\\\

The Adapter Assembly SD10ADPTR716 used to convert interior door tracks to accept field installed hardware and is a TRACK ADAPTER for the Schlage Model 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 Series Deadbolts.

The SD10 is a mortise style track adapter that mounts far enough away from the door frame to allow passage of the lever/knob. It mounts onto the side of a door, through a hole drilled into the stud for added stability and security. It is recommended that at least two screws are used to secure this adapter to the framing.
