The 9036GG2R is a heavy duty, open tank float switch with a 2 pole NEMA 1 enclosure. It has a 2 wire open on rise configuration. The 9036GG2R has contacts rated for 13 amps at 120/240VAC, 12 amps at 277/480VAC and 6 amps at 600VDC.
The Schneider Electric 9036GG2R Square D heavy-duty float switch is designed for open tank and continuous duty applications. It is UL listed and CSA certified to US and Canadian safety standards. This float switch has contacts that open on rise, and consists of a magnetically mounted float, operating coil, magnetic trip mechanism and mechanical latching mechanism with two relay coils. The high quality carbon steel construction ensures trouble free operation in harsh environments.
The switch includes two separate mechanisms which can be used together or independently: a heavy-duty, float-operated (open on rise, close on fall) mechanism with solid contacts that provides high speed and short circuit protection. The second mechanism is a rising stem that opens the solenoid in response to increasing water level.
