FloatSwitch-Mech.Alternators
Schneider electric believes that the simplest electrical devices work best and function differently from the complicated ones. Those advanced devices are not required when you want a reliable device at a lower cost with minimum maintenance. One such device is Schneider’s FloatSwitch-Mech.Alternators which have a unique feature of automatic standby mode. These alternators are to be used for starting of synchronous generators, hydro electric stations, pumping sets, water supply systems and telecom setups among others.

The square D 9038 closed tank alternator is a 50 HZ single phase design. This electronic switch style alternator offers the user three configurations: mechanical, 24VDC solid state and solid state. The 9038 series has been specifically engineered for low fuel consumption, quiet maintenance free operation and high reliability. In addition the 9038 is capable of operating at higher altitudes than previous models with a lower horsepower requirement.
This Square D 9038 Series float switch is a mechanical, open tank design that can be used in gravity or pressurized applications. The 90-degree mechanical contact assembly provides a 7" offset between the float and the contacts, and features an external diaphragm with a direct driven solenoid. The casing has multiple knockouts for easy wiring access and internal wiring is included. For more accurate float compensation, use with a Controlrel 9038CD shunt on 115-120V voltage systems
