The 9038CG34 is a closed tank, side bushing, NEMA 1, float position configuration. The contacts close on rise and open on fall. Float rod angle is 90-degrees performed with a 4.5 inch offset to the right hand side."
If the float rises and closes the switches, the pump is on. If lost motion is detected between the arm and bracket, a warning condition is indicated. This switch is for applications where it is important to protect against flooding through short inlet lineups, or for autotransformer installations. The units are adjustable to compensate for hot water temperature and altitude changes.
The Schneider Electric 9038CG34 Square D 9038 closed tank mechanical alternator has no exposed bushing when mounted, and has a mounting width adjustment of 2.25" with 3/4" offset for easy installation. The 90-degree float rod angle provides better performance.
The NEMA 1 style consists of a bushingside bushing mount mechanical alternator with a contact Mounting position of left-float. The electrical terminals are on the right hand side with the voltage and frequency being connected from right to left.
