FLOAT SWITCH

The Square D 9038GC36 is a miniature industrial float switch with a mounting stem, side bushings, and an adjustable 5" offset. The 9038 provides a stable and accurate output signal. Convenient base mounting holes permit the 9038 to be mounted directly in the equipment.

The Schneider Electric 9038CG36 Square D electromechanical float switches protect pumps from cycling on and off due to changes in liquid level. The closed tank design of these switches prevents contact with the regulated medium, preventing short circuits and wear on electrical contacts. The 9038CG36 features an adjustable tab that controls the rise time, ensuring applications operate consistently.

The Schneider individual float tank mechanical alternator switches are heavy-duty, high amperage units designed to handle severe service industrial applications. They feature electrical contacts that open and close under float switch control, which will extend switch life in dirty or dusty environments.

The 90-Deg. Float Rod Angle, 5" Offset model is designed to mount on tanks with a left or right float rod orientation. The rod must be inclined at approximately 20-30 Deg. above horizontal. Use the 9038-L5 model for left hand float rods and the 9038-R5 model for right hand rod mount applications. Both models are completely assembled with float rod, bushing and gaskets.

The Schneider 9038CG36 Square D 9038 Closed Tank Mechanical Alternator, Side Bushing Mount, NEMA 1, Left Float Position, 90-Deg. Float Rod Angle with 5" Offset, Contacts Close on Rise is a 3 phase alternator. It has features of copper bushings and brass bushings for longer life. The voltage is 1725 volt single phase and its frequency is 60 Hz. It has steel shaft with 90 deg offset and NEMA 1 mounting; contact at rise position vertically mounted.

The 9038CG36 is a Square D Closed Tank Mechanical Float Driver and is rated for use in NEMA 1 closed tank applications. This process pump alternator has a consistent, smooth start/stop characteristic with smooth acceleration when applied load conditions change. It uses air over oil to prevent contamination of the generator's internal electrical parts.
