The Square D by Pressure Switch, Release Valve is a pressure release valve designed for use in water system applications.This replaceable assembly has an adjustable stem that allows it to be fine-tuned for the exact opening pressure you need.

The 9049 A56-Series Pressure Release Valve (PRV) is a low flow, high differential pressure, normally closed double diaphragm, vacuum operated device that provides remote pressure relief. It is designed to be used in many commercial and industrial applications which require the opening of a release valve under both normal operating conditions and during overpressure conditions such as pipe rupture. The PRV is designed for atmospheric release.

The Pressure Release Valve is classified for use in Air, Vapor, Gas, or Water applications. It can be used to protect against the release of dangerous rotating equipment.
