The Type 9049ER-3 is a single-leaf small cylindrical float switch with a spring-loaded actuator for position indication, zinc-plated steel case and a flush-mount steel mounting base. The rod features permanently attached leads, 3" (76 mm) of stroke and stainless steel ball and steel ball retainer.

Electronic magnet-operated float switch. For use on a variety of fluid handling or level control applications. Switches off when the tank is full to prevent water or liquid from overflowing. Required for pump start-up/stop applications. Not for use as a level indicator only.. Will not operate on water only or non-conductive level probes.
