The expansion module GDE164.1P provides an additional input and output interface for the bus technology Siemens Building Technology 24V. It contains two 2-pole current inputs (0 – 10 V DC) and two lines with 44# terminals.

The GDE164.1P device provides up to 4 inputs with 2 auxiliary outputs, IP20 protection, an optional 1.5M extension cable and a battery alarm output. The inputs are line frequency superimposed onto the power frequency with selectable offset of +/-5% or +/-10%. The input type is resistive (for pressure and level sensors) or polarization (for current and voltage sensors). The absolute accuracy of the sensor diaphragm resistance is on average better than 0.2% over the entire temperature range of the device.

The GDE164.1P device is compact in design, as with all devices deriving from the GEX150 family. It operates on 120 to 220 V ac or dc power and is extremely easy to install. The 2 auxiliary inputs allow for adjustable current and voltage settings. The non-contact position sensors have a built in magnet and are compatible for various applications such as rotating fan blades etc.
