Open the jaws and clamp down on any science project. The SOLA PROP J/E AL SM/GRCS 17 is a 17" long jaw and clamp made of solid aluminum and stainless steel for longevity in lab or science lab classrooms.
The SOLA PROP J/E AL SM/GRCS 17 is an aluminum propeller designed to fit the spindle of your outboard motor. Propellers return approximately 70% of wasted energy in the form of thrust, providing more power and a lower operating temperature. The quick-release handle is surrounded by a metal hub for shock absorption and durability.
The SOLA 1/E is designed with the 1/E prop, which is optimized for self-powered vessels and provides a solid propulsion source at lower shaft speeds. SOLA 1/E benefits from a very compact design, which makes it ideally suited for boats where space is at a premium
The SOLA J/E Concentric Supermirror™ is a 3.0" (75 mm) mirror centered within an 18" by 21" (465 mm by 543 mm) gridded prism pair. It can be used in a variety of applications, including modulation spectroscopy, laser testing and alignment, holographic interferometry, fused-silica test lenses, electron microscopy and more.
The Sola Prop is a two-blade, fixed pitch propeller for use on boats up to 20 feet. Two blades give the propeller more bite, and mean that it will run quieter. It is made from glass-reinforced plastic, a material that is much lighter than either wood or metal, but with the same strength.
Solas J/E propellers are recommended as replacements for small propeller driven water vehicles in various military and commercial applications. They are designed to be direct-fit replacements for the currently manufactured government furnished J/E propellers.
