The gas control for Ruud/Rheem Modular Packaged Central Air Conditioning systems is designed to control the setting temperature on your air conditioning system. It is a combination gas valve that can be installed inside or outside of your home, and requires standard 120 V power. This unit has the white color coded knob that indicates it was made before 2006.

With the RHEEM Gas Control valve you can maintain constant temperatures in your water heater, heater, or furnace. Designed for natural gas, this easy-to-install control valve allows you to set a desired temperature and have uninterrupted hot water. Plus, the durable brass components ensures lasting performance.

The gas valve controlled by this thermostat keeps the pilot and burners lit for optimum efficiency. The thermostat can be set to a temperature between 55°F and 90°F (12°C to 32°C) to control the gas valve, automatically turning off and on as needed.
